Carrie and Jon met in college at San Jose State University. You probably know couples who met in college right? But it was the greek system that led these two together. At first, Carrie didn’t really like Jon. She thought he was the typical Frat guy and didn’t think much of Jon as “boyfriend” material. As time went on through various greek activities and study groups,  Jon grew on Carrie and he turned out to be quite the gentleman. 

When it came time to propose, Jon had a brilliant idea. He got some of their closest friends involved and had Carrie go on a scavenger hunt. Carrie had to go to the first place they kissed, the place they went on their first date, the place where he first said I love you…pretty romantic right?? Each of their friends would be at those locations with a clue for the next location until eventually, she ran into Jon where he got down on one knee and popped the question. 

Carrie and Jon are getting married next year and I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of this incredible journey with them! We went up to the Apple Hill area to photograph their engagement photos and couldn’t have asked for better weather. A thin layer of clouds = gorgeous lighting.
