A long time ago in a galaxy far far away, Deirdre and I once worked at a Italian restaurant called Mary’s Pizza Shack together. She was waiting tables attending UC Davis while I was taking care of the to-go orders and still in High School. It wasn’t always strictly business though…There were plenty of pranks and fun times. My favorite prank was cutting a tiny hole at the bottom of one of those paper cone cups that if other employees were thirsty for a quick swig of soda, would drink out of. Before you knew it (and without them knowing it), they had an empty cup and soda all over the floor. It sounds pretty evil but frankly, was quite hilarious. š
After Deirdre finished college, a job opportunity moved her up to the Seattle area. Deirdre was definitely one of my favorite co-workers at “The Shack” (what we called it) so I was sad to see her go but excited for her new opportunities. After all, that is where she met the love of her life, John. We remained friends on Facebook and casually kept in touch.
The location of Deirdre and John’s wedding was about 45 minutes outside of Seattle in a lusciously green town called Snohomish. In attendance was 50 of their closest friends and family which made the private residence of Twin Willow Gardens a very intimate and private location. Check out some favorites from the day…
This is the essence of Deirdre; a beautiful, happy person with such positive energy around her.
Deirdre and John opted for a first look…
Then it was time for the ceremony. I love this shot of Deirdre and her Dad peeking down to look at the guests…
The ceremony location was beautiful…
Since there weren’t a lot of people, (single people, rather) at the wedding – the odds were even better to catch the bouquet and garter…
It was truly an honor to be there for your wedding! Much love and appreciation to you both —
