Tommy and I were already thinking about getting a dog when I met Claire. After hearing about all of the volunteer work she does with homeless dogs, it only solidified the fact that we needed a 4 legged companion. Claire was the reason we decided to rescue Leo from an animal shelter and he’s been a highlight in our lives. If you are on the fence about getting a dog, my advice would be to adopt! I’m sure Claire would agree too.

Claire and Art began their adventure in 2005 when Art started working at an engineering firm where Claire worked. They quickly realized that there was a connection between them and wanted to continue their relationship while Claire went off to the University of Oregon. It was 4 long years of distance with the exception of Claire coming back to visit a few times a year. Once she graduated, her and Art moved in together and got a 4 legged companion of their own. Thus beginning the next adventure of their lives.

For their wedding day, Claire and Art got married at the Gold Hill Gardens Bed + Breakfast. It was a beautiful summer day and even their 4 legged companion, Cassius, was there in attendance looking quite dapper. Here are some favorites from their wedding day..
