THE

Grand Island Mansion Wedding, Walnut Grove, CA. Sherry + Matt

There will always be people you have an instant connection with. It’s inevitable. The world is just too big (but small in a way) to not be connected with other human beings.

When I first met Sherry and Matt, we became almost instant friends. When I found out Matt and I shared the same birthday? Obviously we needed to be birthday buddies. Or ‘Taurus’ boys as what Sherry calls it. They are all around great people with a good heart and love to have a good time. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Matt and Sherry for a couple of years now. We have a lot of mutual friends in common so we’ve gotten to know each other pretty well over the past 2 years.
Leading up to the wedding, I met with Sherry and Matt various times. The first one was to plan their Engagement Session in San Francisco. After that, was times leading up to the wedding to discuss what she was working on. Both Matt and Sherry did a lot of DIY for their wedding. From the temporary tattoos, their logo, candy table, straws…the list goes on an on! Instead of me chatting about it more and more, I’d love to walk you through their wedding…

Sherry also had a reception dress…

I love the color palette for the bridesmaids…

The ceremony programs and a wedding day survival kit…

Thu Vu of AJF Salon did an amazing job on Sherry and all of the bridesmaids makeup…

The Candy Bar was OUT OF CONTROL.

Sherry and Matt put tags on each of these straws with messages like “Celebrate” and “Hot Mess.”

Nicole Medina from AJF Salon did a fabulous job on all of the girls’ hair…

Sherry didn’t do a first look with her future groom…she wanted to do one with her Dad which is something I haven’t seen but thought it was really special for the two of them.

Turns out, they had the entire room in happy tears…

Sherry, you’re stunning!

I know Sherry has watched Americas next top model because she is serving me FACE!

 Gorgeous ladies!

Handsome guys!

This may be one of my favorites from the day….

And a sparkler send off to end the night…

Congratulations you two!! So happy for what the future holds. šŸ™‚
