It was at the restaurant I used to work at when I first came across Rachael. Her mom teaches at an elementary school but also worked as a bartender a few nights a week. Sometimes I’d grade her papers when I didn’t have many tables in my section. I’ve always had a soft spot for teaching. Just ask my stuffed old stuffed animals I used to teach when I was 5.
I couldn’t have been more thrilled to work with Rachael and Trevor as they planned one of the best days of their lives. They are some of the nicest, sweetest people you’ll ever meet! At the end of our engagement session, Rachael handed me a bag. Inside was homemade banana bread! It’s the little things, people.
For their wedding, they had the ceremony at a local church in Sacramento and the reception at the location where Rachael used to ride horses. Trevor also has trained horses so it was a very fitting location for them. It was also at the place where we shot their
engagement photos too! It was an absolutely beautiful summer day for a wedding and everything turned out perfect. Check out some favorites from their big day.
Rachael and Trevor opted for a first look…
Those are Rachael’s 3 brothers who were also a little choked up watching their baby sister and Dad dance.
