It was early Sunday when I started seeing the Facebook posts going up about the wedding I was photographing later that day. The bride and I have a few mutual friends in common which is how I came to know Katie and her soon to be husband, Travis. We first met on a Sunday brunch at our friends birthday party where I had a photo booth set up for the theme – “Big Hat Brunch.” And although I would love to post photos of that right now, feel free to check a few of those out here. Some months later, we met at a nearby coffee shop to discuss the wedding and more about themselves. It was an absolute pleasure being a part of their wedding day…enjoy a few of my favorites below…
I first met Katie in her hotel room for a few detail shots…
The girls over at Hello Glam did a fantastic job with hair and make-up..
The flowers were done by Ambience Floral Design and looked uh-mazing…
I loved Travis’ suit. Very Classic.
A few final touches..
Katie, you’re gorgeous.
Callista is one of our mutual friends (who doesn’t mind posing for photos..hehe) so I used her as a light-tester.
Travis as he watched Katie come down the aisle…
They chose to write their own vows which definitely watered some eyes amongst guests…
and smiles…
Be sure to check back on Friday on the blog if you are interested in how this photo was created and other post processing details…
While the guests were still finishing their dinner…we snuck away for some sunset photos on the rooftop terrace…
The always lovely Sweet Cakes by Rebecca made this VERY delicious and sweet looking cake.
This may be one of my favorites from the day…
Michelle over at the Citizen Hotel did an awesome job organizing the wedding…
The toasts were lively and touching…
As was the rest of the night!
The wedding was a big dance party thanks to Dominic from Extreme Productions DJ’s.
Before the wedding was over, Callista and Jon (both part of the bridal party) stole me for a pic in the same spot as we were at earlier. Only at night time, it gave the photo a different look…love it!
Congratulations again Katie and Travis! It was an honor being a part of your wedding day. Much love and appreciation to you both.
