THE

Mindy + Martin: Destination Engagement Session, Seattle, Washington

The bell rang which meant it was time for the students to take their seats. As second graders, some of them didn’t hurry to their seats right away. Martin thought Mindy, the new girl, was really cute and dropped a note by her desk before she got to her seat. Once she got to her seat, she found the note and automatically knew it was from Martin since he clearly wrote his name on the note like any other class assignment. Oh Martin, you had gaaame for a second grader! šŸ˜‰

Mindy, Martin, and I started out at the beautiful Discovery Park down by the lighthouse. Once we stepped out of the car, we had the only rain Seattle had seen that day. Literally, it was a cloud right over our heads…like one of those cartoons with the rainclouds over the characters heads but sunny all around. Luckily it was short lived.

On our way down to the beach, Mindy slipped on a rock BEFORE we even started shooting and fell hard on her derriere. I felt so bad and went to help her and on my way to help her I slipped and fell hard too. Luckily, the only casualty was my 50mm lens filter. Mindy, don’t hate me for telling the internet…I fell too! šŸ™‚

Mindy, you’re gorgeous.

See that cloud at the top of this next photo?? Yeah THAT’s the cloud that I talked about earlier. Luckily though it was the end of it.

Nature photos just melt my heart. And the Pacific Northwest is a beautiful spot for it.

Here’s a fun fact. When I showed Mindy this photo on the back of the camera she immediately thought of Twilight. BUT WAIT. When I told her that I hadn’t seen any of the movies, she hasn’t either! But she’s read all of the books. Boom.

We then moved on to Alki for our second location. Seattle never looked so good!

In love with this one…

Happy Wednesday!
