Sacramento Engagement Photography | Rochelle + Nicholas

Nicholas and Rochelle met each other out one night when LMFAO was in town through mutual friends. You know, party rockin to the hoooouuuussse toniiiight! This was before they hit it big though and both Nick and Rochelle didn’t have any idea who they were. Nick eventually ended up getting her number only to wait about a year to finally ask her out on a date. Rochelle happily agreed and well, the rest is history.

When I first met Nicholas and Rochelle, I knew that we would instantly get along. One of the questions I asked them is how did Nick propose? Well, every year since they’ve been together one of the things they love to do around Christmas time is look at Christmas lights. There’s an area in Sacramento where every house on the street decorates and last year, he surprised Rochelle. Family and friends were awaiting their arrival as soon as you turned the corner holding signs that asked the question, to which Rochelle said yes. My second favorite part of that story? Christmas lights. I love looking at Christmas lights around that time of year and I even try to go all Griswalds on my own house. We won’t discuss the December PG&E bill.

For their engagement session, we went back to where it all started and where they both love to hang out, downtown Sacramento. We had a wonderful time walking around, getting to know each other, and laughing a lot. Even taking a selfie! Enjoy some of the highlights from Nicholas and Rochelle’s shoot.
