She’s got a thing for red heads so when a mutual friend introduced Michelle to Andy, she couldn’t help but think how cute he was (and still is). But what really made her fall for Andy was his sense of humor and personality. You’ll be able to tell from the photos that Andy really does make her laugh. For reals.
Michelle and Andy dated for 7 years before Andy popped the question. I asked Michelle – when did you know that Andy was the guy for you? Her response? “There was no one moment that made me realize this. Time told its tale. Time showed me the kind of man Andy was. During tough times and during great times we always made it through stronger, and that’s when I knew we could make it through more.”
For their engagement session, we chose to make our way to San Francisco. 3 of their favorite spots to go to in the city are downtown, Palace of Fine Arts, and Baker Beach – and that’s exactly what we did! We had so much fun hanging out and taking photos around the city. Here are some of my favorites from the day.
I gave Michelle and Andy an action to do, stop right here, walk up to the stairs and kiss. Once they reached the top of the stairs this guy came out of the door but that didn’t make them break character…love it!
After downtown, we made our way over to the Palace of Fine Arts. I always love trying to showcase this massive structure in different ways.
Michelle, you’re gorgeous.
I recently upgraded my camera and a cool feature it has on it is double exposures. Michelle and Andy let me try one on them…
After the palace it was off to Baker Beach…
As they were making their way back towards the camera, a wave came out of nowhere and soaked the bottom half of the two of them. It soaked myself as well, but I wasn’t concerned about that…I’m happy I got this shot! A perfect end to a perfect day.
Happy Tuesday!
