This past summer, Matt and Sherry flew out to the Philippines to visit some of Sherry’s family. Before they left, we were all questioning whether or not this was going to be the trip that Matt proposed. Even after keeping up with them via Facebook and seeing all of their gorgeous beach pics, check-in’s, and yummy drinks (most of which were umbrella-worthy), still no announcement of a proposal.
It wasn’t until they arrived home when I got a picture message from Sherry with an engagement ring attached with the following message: “Before you see it on Facebook, I’m engaged.” I’ve known Matt and Sherry for a few years now so I was really really happy for them!
Together they compliment each other quite nicely. Sherry is beautiful, sweet, and loves to shop. Matt, or “bunny” which is what their friends have nick-named him, will make a loving, generous, and patient husband. They both love going out…specifically to costume/themed parties to dress up…or any kind of holiday associated with dressing for the occasion. So, as you can probably imagine, Sherry consulted with me quite a few times before the engagement session to ask about different outfits she should wear.
We started out by grabbing some Clam Chowder at the famous Cliffhouse Restaurant in San Fran…
If you read what was above, you know that their friends’ nickname for Matt is “Bunny.” Why? Because the first time they hung out was on Halloween and Matt’s costume….was a Bunny.
I can’t wait for your wedding next year!
