This is Sara unpacking her stuff into her empty metal bin at our London hostel. Before this trip, I had never stayed in or seen a hostel so I had no idea what to expect. And I definitely didn’t want to see the movie “Hostel” before staying here either…No. Thank. You. They are good for a few things…having a bed to sleep in and a place to shower…all for a relatively cheap price. I was definitely happy to get back to my bed in Paris after this trip though.

Be sure to bring your ipod if you are going to stay at one because you never know who you will be sharing a room with. When we were in Cork at our hostel we had an old Irish man in our room and I’m pretty sure the building next to us could hear his snoring.
