It was their first date and they kept it casual with a good conversation over pizza. Things were going really well so they decided to grab a cup of coffee after they were through with pizza. The coffee shop wasn’t quite walking distance so they thought it was a better idea to drive. Everything seemed to be going great…wait for it…until Maura’s car didn’t start. Perfect timing for the battery to die right? ON THE FIRST DATE. Or was she just putting Chris to the test??
Even though the starter wasn’t working because of drained battery, what DID start that day would eventually lead Maura and Joey to their wedding day. They had a Catholic wedding ceremony at the St. Ignatious church followed by a reception at the Arden Hills Resort and Spa. It was a beautiful day!
Starting off with a few details….Maura’s something borrowed was from her mother which was a photo she drew her mom from the first grade. So sweet!
Before the ceremony, we walked over to Capitol Park in Sacramento to snap a few photos.
Guests greeted the happy couple with bubbles as they made their way out for the formal exit…
