Over the weekend, I shot my fourth wedding of the year. This one was really special for me. Every wedding I shoot is near and dear to my heart, but at the risk of sounding too mushy, this one pulled at my heart strings a little. I’ll try to explain it with photos –

This is Kory + Eric. They married on Saturday (March 14, 2015) in their backyard. Can you believe they get to enjoy these rad sunsets?!

This is Nicole + Joe and they married May 31, 2014 up in Chico. You can’t really see their faces too much in this photo but it’s one of my favorites. The car, the scenery, the CANS! I love everything about this.

This is Melissa + Allen. They were married on May 25, 2013 on private property. The private property included this completely amazing walnut orchard and a view of the Sacramento river. I’m a greenleaf so whenever there is nature involved, that’s my jam.

The reason why this past weekend was so special to me was because they are all friends. Friends who have referred me to their friends. And then their friends. And then they turn into my friends. I seriously had to pinch myself that this was my job. I feel so honored, grateful, and so so so appreciative these wonderful people who I’m so thankful to call friends allowed me to be a part of all of their wedding days. This photo is for sure getting framed.
