I’ve never been one of those people to dress up my dog for Halloween. I grew up with black labs and well, they’re not the smallest of dogs and they’d probably just tear whatever I would have put them in.

Leo came into the picture after we rescued him from Front Street and my mind started to change about the whole dress up thing. We got him a bowtie to dress him up, my mom got him a sweater at Christmas, and he’s had about 5 different collars since we got him in March of 2014…2 of which he grew out of. Still, very minimal in my opinion.

Then one day I was browsing Amazon and in a suggestion box…there it was. It was a photo of a dog with a lion mane and I just about died. I haaaaad to have this. I mean, it matched the color of his fur perfectly and my Dad always calls him Leo the lion. It was perfect. Although I’m not sure how he feels about it…
