Napa Wedding at Carneros Resort and Spa

West-Coast Greek meets Dutch world traveler in Midwest America – what are the odds? It’s crazy how the world works sometimes. But that’s exactly what happened for the wonderful couple whose wedding I’m sharing with you today. Napa Wedding at Carneros Resort

Ted was living in California when an opportunity came up to relocate temporarily to Ohio. At the same time, Melany, who was working for the same company but in Switzerland(!) had the same opportunity. After they made the move and settled into their new living situations, Ted and Melany met one night at a work dinner. They immediately could tell they had chemistry so they decided to make a date. Their first official date was a movie and they started to fall in love.

A year later, the opportunity came up for them to move. They relocated to the Bay area where they now call home. As active people who love to have a good time, they love what the Bay Area and surrounding areas has to offer. They eventually settled on Napa where they would invite their friends and family from all over the world to come celebrate their love.

It was a beautiful, windy day in Napa at Carneros Resort and Spa. I think Ted was more nervous than Melany before they saw each other for their first look. Because their first date was a movie, they handed out popcorn to their guest so they had something to snack on during the ceremony. Cocktail hour was on the lawn nearby and dinner was al fresco. Guests moved inside and danced the night away.

These two are so beautiful inside and out. It was such an honor to be a part of this wedding!
