Carissa and Paul met at a bowling alley in Fresno during the summer league of 2005. They played on different teams and were the first bowlers when both teams finally played each other. Their first interaction was over a ball with a dirty name, which caught Carissa’s eye and made Paul laugh at her reaction. Paul had a red mohawk, a goatee, wearing an orange Fresno County Jail shirt, and was trying to convince Carissa that he was a respectable teacher and a law abiding citizen. Luckily for her, he was right.
On their 10th anniversary of dating, Carissa and Paul tied the knot at the Squaw Valley resort near Lake Tahoe.

This was a great day and one of the best weekends of my life. I love them both and I love this union! EVERYONE seemed to have had a ball. No kidding!
