San Diego Engagement Photography | Gaslamp, Balboa, Petco Park | Veronica + Peter

San Diego has to be one of my favorite cities in California. The overall vibe that I get from the city is wonderful and it’s helps that the city itself, by the water, can be pretty easy on the eyes. Then there’s La Jolla. And Coronado Island. Oh I could go on and on. When Veronica and Peter invited me down to San Diego to photograph their engagement session, I immediately jumped on board!

I met Veronica way back in middle school when we both worked the snack bar during break. Why exactly were we working at the snack bar? Who knows. But I’m so happy we did because during our engagement session, we were reliving some of our past memories.

Veronica and Peter met in a running club in San Diego. Peter, who later found out the running club would change his life, ironically hates running and joined to help get himself into shape. After 3 months of meeting Veronica, Peter took her on a vacation to Hawaii. It was in Oaho where they really got to spend a lot of time together, build memories, and even miss their flight back home.

It was an honor and a privilege to spend the day with these two and capture their love. Here are a few of my favorites from their engagement session!

We started out at one of Veronica’s favorite Cafe’s…

Cafe Chloe:

After Cafe Chloe, we made our way down to Petco Park…not before stopping at a few places along the way šŸ™‚

V, you’re gorgeous. Inside and Out.

Happy Tuesday!

  1. […] I’ve known Veronica since High School, so when she contacted me about her wedding at the Crosby Club at Rancho Santa Fe, I was thrilled! Veronica is the type of person that can always put a smile on your face. We set up a Skype date and that’s where I “met” Peter for the first time, who is an awesome guy. The two of them met in a marathon training group and quickly became running buds. After several dates, a couple years, and 3 Disneyland trips later, Peter asked Veronica to marry him early last year. I was fortunate enough to head to San Diego for their engagement shoot as well – check out those photos HERE. […]
