San Francisco Engagement: Mandy + Jon

It was the first day of ReSTARt and I was more motivated and determined than ever to make 2013 an amazing year…especially with the help of Jasmine Star. During the first break of the live show, I went to check my phone and I received an email from Mandy. She was recently engaged and looking for a wedding photographer to photograph her October 2013 wedding. She said she saw me on Creative Live with Jasmine Star and has heard my name through friends of hers so it was a sign she needed to inquire…And I’m so happy she did!

I met Mandy and Jon at a little boutique coffee lounge downtown and that’s where we got to know each other a little better and talked about wedding details. They both knew each other since childhood but when Mandy moved back up to Nor Cal from San Diego, they reconnected with each other….and the rest? I call it fate.

Mandy and Jon love going to San Francisco for short trips, delicious food, and good times to just hang out and have fun with each other. Naturally, when we started talking about engagement photos, I thought San Francisco was perfect. Jon or “Jonny” as Mandy calls him, proposed at the Palace of Fine Arts (with their entire family around!) so that was a must-stop location for our session.
