When Heidi first met John, she gave him an interview. I know what you’re thinking…an interview to see if he’s dating material? No no…Heidi and her roommate were looking to add another roommate to their house hold and John responded to the ad. After Heidi and her roommate interviewed John, they agreed that he (and his dog) would be a perfect addition to their household.

They had a lot of roommate adventures and realized they had a lot of things in common. They went hiking, camping, and even watched football together. It wasn’t until about a year into being roommates when they both realized they had developed feelings for each other. It was time to put the roommate image aside and go on an actual date. Heidi already knew what it was like to live with John and had spent so much time with him over the last year so dating, and eventually marrying him felt so right.
