Last weekend, Tommy and I took off on Friday to spend the night in Half Moon Bay. It’s a cool little beach town about 2 and a half hours away. Usually Half Moon Bay can be pretty foggy but it was amazing weather…especially for February! I love you, California. We stayed around the beach area mostly, only venturing into the small town to eat breakfast. We ate at this old local diner-style place for breakfast and the seating was so close to each other I asked my neighbor if I could borrow the cream for my coffee. We sat next to this couple who were close to retirement and just recently married 3 years ago. Yep, that’s how close we sat! Almost reminded me of how close people sit at restaurants in Europe.
